Green House provides architectural services in three stages.

Design- Design is the stage where the overall direction of the project is determined. This involves further meetings with you to discuss your project requirements and the atmosphere you would like to achieve in the house. Existing conditions are investigated and existing buildings are measured and documented.

We then design alternative schemes in concept form that clearly show different overall approaches to the work. These schemes give you a broad range of ideas and your feedback is valuable as it gives us a better understanding of your tastes and requirements. The chosen scheme is then refined and with the aid of a computer model we explore 3d massing and do a solar analysis. A brief outline of probable construction costs will be included.

Documentation for Development Application Approval - This involves the production of a set of drawings suitable for lodging a Development Application, including Site Plans, Floor Plans, Elevations and Sections. We will then do all the necessary paperwork, lodge the application and correspond with ACT Planning during the approval process.

Detailing and Contract Administration - Detailed drawings and specifications are required for tendering and construction. This involves the resolution of structural, construction, wet area and joinery details, service and electrical plans, and window and door schedules.

We will oversee the tendering process and selection of builders and monitor the construction process to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with the documentation and your original design intent.
